Dean Martin (born Dino Paul Crocetti) began his career in partnership with Jerry Lewis. The team paired for over 10 years, and the breakup, though acrimonious, resulted in Dean's being able to pursue opportunities which ultimately made him a star in his own right. An actor and a singer, Dean joined Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Joey Bishop and Peter Lawford in the Rat Pack.
